Slim is a comparison service that earns affiliate commissions. If a user clicks "Change" on the results page, agrees to the terms, and then signs a contract on the provider's website, Slim receives a commission from certain providers.

This fee does not affect your bill. Even if we receive the fee, the ranking of the comparison results is determined by an algorithm, regardless of whether you are an affiliate. If you decline the offer, the comparison results will remain unchanged.

Algorithm Independence in Ranking Systems

The ranking is based solely on the amount saved, in descending order. Whether a product is an affiliate link or whether a commission is received does not affect the ranking.

Slim does not mix advertising content with comparison content. The comparison results are 100% algorithm-generated.

GDPR and Data Retention

The legal basis for GDPR compliance regarding affiliate click records (Art. 6(1)(a) Consent) and the retention policy (click records: anonymized by setting to NULL after 90 days; settlement ledger: retained for up to 10 years in accordance with Belgian accounting obligations) are consistent with the Affiliate section of the Privacy Policy.
